ABOUT DENVER’S “LITTLE SAIGON” NEIGHBORHOOD

The stretch of Federal Blvd. that is currently home to New Saigon is known as Little Saigon. Growing significantly in population during the post-war years, this neighborhood became home to many of the new Vietnamese immigrants entering the Rocky Mountain West.

Over time, these new arrivals set up various Vietnamese restaurants and other businesses in strip malls along Federal, sharing flavors and traditions from their home country. While many of the early establishments have since closed, New Saigon remains, offering an expansive, unique menu full of tasty, comforting dishes that delight the palate with the bright, exotic flavors of Southeast Asia.
